How to Install Mods

Im new to steam and want to know how to install mods to this game can I get some help from anyone

Above this box, click "Videos". Scroll down a bit and you will see a video that someone has made explaining how to install mods :)

Most mod's are a .exe and will install by just clicking on them.
Outhers are .zip just put them in the mod folder thats in farming simulator game folder, under games

Mods go in the C:\Users\your username\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2013\mods

Just be careful with .exe files. They are like opening your door and putting a sign up "free access to my home."

.zip and .rar files are safest if your anti virus scans them automatically.

download the free un-zipper 7-zip for the .rar files.

Some modders put compressed files inside other compressed files so open the downloaded one first then move the inside ones into the 'mod' folder, otherwise they won't show ingame.

Most mods you will find add little above what you already have or work poorly or not at all. But a few are simply incredible and well worth the effort of experimenting with mods in general. One map I installed for FS2011 was even more complex the FS2013 - besides the usual, you could produce pork and brew beer.

If you go to the offical site. You can download 100% working mods that are .exe and completely safe

Okay I have downloaded 2 mods. I have unzipped the files, I opened the C drive. Went into program files then Farming SImulator 2013, but there is no folder that says mods. Where do I put the folders then?
