Having Far Cry 3 issues? here is the definite fix

For anyone thats having trouble with lag while in combat or just general lag, heres what you do.

-set AA to 2 in game
-set Post FX to ultra (if your rig can handle it, if not, just the highest)
exit game, and then force more AA, AF, and AO in Catalyst Control Center or Nvidia Control Panel.

This will make the game run butter smooth, and look great too.

I would suppose it would work but even when i try running the game through steam it gives me the problem of "autopatch has encountered a problem and needs to close" ive reinstalled the game but to no avail, got any ideas for that problem?

This first one has a massive amount of DXDIAG text, but boiled down it suggests that you update video drivers (yes I know that the link is about another ubisoft game, but it was only 1 of 2 results that were even close to valid)

This one suggests that you manually uninstall the Ubisoft game launcher and reinstall it. Read posts # 3 and 4 for detailed information on doing so.

Very often the Uplay servers break down during the launch of new games.
It's a very common issue. Ubisoft DRM is evil, and won't allow you to play your game
until the servers are back up.

So you mean i should just be waiting till these servers come back up? then i will be able to put my key in and it will be valid?

I know this, but I bought the game to honor the series and developers, all the games I buy what I like because it is right.

But the version steam does not work, it's sad. :/

Just, sorry for comment. I thought it would be valid to understand my situation.

Yes, Uplay is installed, updated and running. To run the game at least in my case he opens first Uplay, it connects to my Ubi account, when I run the game through Uplay, it loads the splash screen to enter the first loading screen of the game (the one without sound) he lasts a few seconds, before changing screen, the PC dies.

And it turns back on, disconnect the power source and reconnect for it to start.
