How do I even quit the game? just get a annoying flashing screen and a moveable sperm.

alt + F4 should kill it if you can't find the exit.

to turn sound down you'll need to use the windows sound mixer

Alt + Enter to toggle Fullscreen and exit the game if nothing else works. I just use ESC key or click on the quit button in the lower right from the menu. :)

Alt + m mutes the audio. Try Ctrl + m also.
