why is hl2 running in slow mo
hey, now ive already completed my hl2 an my comp handles it perfectly well on high setting, so the other day i was like dya no what imma play hl2 again before hl3 hopefully comes out aaaand i load it up start a new game and for some reson it seems to be running in slow mo that or with an insane level of smoothing as walkin doesnt stop as quickly as it normally would i dont stop running as quickly as i normally would and if i fire the crossbow the bolt seems to take longer than normal to arrive at its finale point

I had this problem too - opting into the Steampipe beta fixed it for me.

nah it was a console thign an update had turned sv_alternateticks on for me an makes you and other npc and projectiles move slower, dunno why it turned it on but its fixed now. thank anyway
