HL2 cards not dropping

I've played over 10 hours getting achievements and the cards haven't dropped. Anyone else have this problem?

another thread is saying you can idle on the menu and get it to drop. im gonna try that now but i guess others are having this problem too.

Far as I know all you have to do is go into a game and wait for it to drop. They have random drop times. Somtimes they take longer.

You have to be at least level 8 to get the random monster card drops
