Because even now - almost 10 years later, this game still ♥♥♥♥♥ on majority of the games released nowadays. HF2 was revolutionary back in the day and it still is in most cases. The graphic got a bit outdated but the game still looks spectacular on maxed out settings and in terms of gameplay and level design, it is absolutely stunning. I'm still trying to find a game that could compete with HF2 and there isn't any. Only HF3 can top this game, IF it ever gets released, of course. And I really hope it will.

i agree this game has the best level design and AI compared to all games today, so what if the graphics are a bit outdated, considering that it is 10 years old, it's probably the best game ever in my books, also there is NOTHING dull about this game. ps: crossing my fingers for HL3 :D

because the game is awesome and the it isn't outdated that a game is old doesn't mean that you can't play it anymore think at the origenal half life and quike people stil play it and enjoy it

This is one of those games that doesn't get outdated. It's gameplay and design is solid enough that it stays interesting, even if the graphics aren't the best. Not to mention it's easy to mod.
