Problem with HL2 + Oculus Rift

Hello.

Having problems in game with Oculus Rift.

When i start HL2 in "-vr" mode - it loads first scene where i must see menu but i dont see it, cant select new game or etc. Mouse doesnt work, keyboard also, works only Steam shotcuts. So cant exit game need to ALT + TAB to quit it. Only can view with OR in that scene. If i start without "-vr" everything works fine.

Windows 8 64bit

With HL2: EP 1 i dont have this problem... Only in HL 2

delete HL2 and download it again or just prepare for unforeseen consequences........

Tried reinstalling, deleteing, changing steamapp directory. Doesnt help at all. Getting this problem when editing config.cfg for better performance with OR.

Right now having same problem with HL 2: EP 1. First time when downloaded it worked nice with Oculus, then i edited config.cfg and now has same problem... Deleted game, deleted steamapp directory, created new directory, downloaded again and the problem same.

Looks like there is some kind of "cached" settings that i cant delete it and always getting the same problem.

When i remove "-vr" - HL 2 works fine. Only problem in VR mode...

I'm having the same problem with it. It seems to auto adjust the oculus's settings to resolution 1280x800 (When the vr setting is 1280x768), that could be nothing, but it's the only clue that I can find. Is there some kind of patch out there for this?
