What about Iron Sights?

I mean, I'm suprised no one have thought of this before; making a hl2 mode that implements iron sights for weapons. Can you imagine how cool would it be to actually using the laser aim of the machine gun, and how more strategic battles would be with this implementation?

Why not? the Triage mod implamented it and still plays like good ol' hl2. Same for 1187.

Iron sight adds to immersion. In some case old is better but iron sight is a definitive improvement of modern FPS. And they have degenerated on many other aspect.

Jeez, at this point I wanna ask what's the problem you have with Iron Sights. There's a reason why many GPS have them, and it's because it's add more strategy to the gameplay. A process that started with the original HL btw.

The reason of why I asked about an iron sights mod is because:

a) They made one for the first Far Cry, which was one year older than HL2.

b) It WOULD fit well with the gameplay, as other Source based mods have already proved, and would add some pretty characteristics, like for example the laser aim on the combine machine gun.

IN BLACK MESA THEY HAD IRON SIGHTS BAKA! NOT IN THE ORIGINAL! But in all seriousness, DONT make it a mandatory gameplay function.This is run' n ' gun. Not a "modern military shooter" A.K.A. Spunkgargleweewee.
