Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes

Ver estadísticas:
Any offending scenes?
Hi, there's recently been a thread on the Deponia forums about pedophilic reference in Goodbye Deponia and how people was offended by it, and someone told "if you think it's too much, you should try playing Edna..."

So, my question is: can you name some of the most offending scenes from Edna & Harvey games (from both of them?) so I can weight if it's worth to play the game? The thing is, I LOVE offending jokes on the most sensible topics, so if you can show me good examples I might just buy this game. Thanks.

Hi. Most of the facts would be spoilers but both games start with a happy / funy story and get darker along the game.

Let' s say I wouldn't suggest both games for kids < 12 mainly because both don't realy have a happy end.

Both games try to question you if you can feel guilty for the actions you do in the game at the end.

e.g. in Harveys new eyes you kill several people by accident...

And that's it? I was hoping for something more.... hardcore.

Harveys New Eyes is the cutest and at the same time the most brutal of Daedalic games.
It's just always "covered" as an accident and you are completely innocent.
Some examples without big spoilers: A guy is eaten alive by insects. One of your "friends" hangs herself after you "helped" her. You can combine a hamster with such an iron Needle where you normaly stick paper on. She just does it without questioning. Some guy gives out free medicaments but only if you are sick. When saying you don't have cancer, the guy says "too bad". This game really is hardcore in that regards. Not for children.

I have not found this game offensive even a little bit.

Some people may be more sensitive than others to certain references, I think. For example, there's a scene where this little girl is wandering alone at night, and someone asks her something like "what is a cute little girl like you doing alone at night here, where nobody would hear your screams?". In spite of the creepy phrasing, that particular moment poses no threat for her; the man who asks this is being friendly and concerned, rather than menacing. I found that scene perfectly in tune with the overall spirit of the game, dark and funny. But perhaps some people may find it offensive, I don't know.
