This game needs an autowalk option
As in, the game moves by itself, walks around and stuff unless you want to take control for a few secs, go see something and then let it go free again.

It really does. It's pretty to look at but not overwhelming, so I could project it to a wall somewhere while having people over. Both the sounds and imagery could be a neat distraction or topic starter.

The letter Q goes into "cruise" speed, and lets you move automagically, but the character doesn't move and look all by himself, which is what I'd love to have.

the idea of projecting proteus on a wall at a party is amazing. It would be cool if there was the autowalk feature. But even just recording three or four play throughs and looping them together would probably be good enough. Though it would be great to have a mouse sitting out so that if people wanted they could walk around on their own. Would be especially amazing to have a party in a big room with multiple copies of the game playing on multiple walls. People could walk up and interact if they wanted, or just watch/listen. The developers should start throwing Proteus parties like this, and invite the fans.
