Although I'm happy to hear that patching is the priority, it seems a bit negligent to mention a sequel so soon after the original release, with the game still in such an unplayable state for many players.

I would like to be able to complete Hotline Miami. Hopefully the patch they are working on resolves many of our issues.

omg.... how about fixing the first game before they devlope a sequel ? I will not buy the Sequel , in 2-3 Month there are in a indie bundle anyway.

Worst Support ever
Completed all the chapters, but it turns out for me that killing with a knife is almost far more effective than with firearms. For example if there are at least 2 enemies attacking you in a small room. Would have appreciated some patch or balance mod (editor) to fix this. Also pretty annoying is the fact that player is dying instantly no matter what kind of damage he takes. I suppose it would be more fun if some random calculation (at least) on this fact could be performed.

I hope they are even working on a patch. Game keeps crashing after chapter 17(or 16)
From what interviews seem to let on, the sequel is a DLC thing, not a full price release.

At least, thats what it looks like
I think it is a DLC. That is why no one get achivement "achivement ♥♥♥♥♥" because it counts future DLC achivements.
I would very very much like a patch for the game. I love working my all the way to the very end only to have it crash on me each time.

I would like to have a dev update us on the patch progress.
For $10 I expect 3D multiplayer/co-op support.

hey! update is prio one and that is what we are working on! the whole sequal in the works is a bit of a misunderstanding! all we said was that we've been planning the story, music, characters and levels! but trust me, getting the first game to work first is what we do 24/7! got one bug left that we are testing a solution for right now! update next week if we get that to work! stay tuned!

Thank you very much for the update. I love this game and can't wait to play more of it.
Can you tell us which bugs this patch will fix? And why cant you just release small patches instead of a mega patch.
