the problems are endless, people dont buy this game if youre on windows 8 and save your ten bucks and buy a crate of beer instead.

out of my plus 100 games this one has the worst fixes and bugs in a game i have ever seen, and it isnt even a high end game...devs go find another job cause you sure cant make a proper game.

In their defense, they're only 2 or 3 guys working on this game. Also, windows 8 is pretty new still, so there are bound to be some compatibility issues. I don't know why you shoot so much venom for this.

In fairness, I'm running it on XP and I've been stuck on Level 4 for more than three weeks. Meanwhile, my credit card bill came in the other day and I've already ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paid for the thing and can't play it yet. They didn't say it was incompatible with Windows 8, they just put it out there and let people find out for themselves. Besides, there has to be a way to let us switch floors on a stage without the whole game seizing up, they managed it well enough in the late 80s for God's sake.

btw this is not anger nothing but i have a right to complain here, i dont hate the devs or the game, i love the game its just a lazy excuse and if you make a game payware get right on fixing it alrdy theres a ton of problems with games but within a week they update it and fix it...nothings happening with hotline at all and the complains are stacking up.

The game is really unstable for a lot of people. That's not whining it's a simple fact. Then when they post a discussion on what the next DLC should be and say they have a lot of ideas I wonder if the current game will ever work for me.

Also these guys are going to make plenty of money off this, they don't need fanboys defending them.

I don't see "windows 8" anywhere on the spec sheets. They have no legal obligation to support windows 8. I could scream at them for not supporting Mac OSX, Linux, BSD, Beos, Windows 98se and a dozen of different operating systems that have more of a market share than windows 8 does. You didn't read the spec list. You didn't do your job as a consumer. Research next time. This time at least try compatability mode for windows xp, vista and 7. If that fails then your're SOL.

Yes how dare someone expect a incredibly recently released game to have some support on a recently released mainstream OS. Next people will be expecting all the achievements to work or something! Ungrateful savages, the lot of them.

You shouldn't 'expect' anything when it comes to compatibility in PC games, system requirements are printed everywhere for a reason, if someone is too lazy to read them then well, kind of their problem isn't it.

I would expect a recently released game to either be compatible with the most recent OS's or else be actively working towards that compatibility... Just like I'd expect a game to have all of its achievements working. I don't think either of those two things are unreasonable expectations.

The game has had one patch, is it unreasonable to expect another to take care of the mounds of stuff people are reporting in regards to faults like this one where it's a matter of Windows 8, other faults where it is not the specific OS at issue, or things that literally have nothing to do with the OS like the aforementioned achievement issue?

The game is great, but support for it from the devs has been pretty dang iffy.
