Missing Sprites

So when I origanlly torrented this game to see what it was like, I noticed a lot of sprites missing in comparison with all the streams and youtube videos I have seen on this game, but I thought that was the torrented version doing this to me. However when I ended up buying the game off steam (I like to support indie devs) I found this problem again. The stairs are missing, the carpets, the textures on the floor etc. Is this somthing to do with my computer or the game itself, if anyone has a solution for this problem please post and help me out, thanks

Same here, it doesn't take much time for textures to vanish during a game. Especially after first or second "floor". Really annoying thing. I am also missing menu, in-game score, amount of ammo etc. Radeon hd8970m

This is a common issue with older integrated graphics. I guess you have a laptop with Intel graphics, am I right? If I'm right, possible fixes includes:

• Updating your Intel graphics driver: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect ;
  
• If you're on Windows 8, try changing compatibility mode to Windows 7 or Vista.

For the second fix:
Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> Right-click on "HotlineGL.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
If it still doesn't work try again with Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).

I'm afraid there's not much more you can do mate, since this is a hardware limitation: it is due to your integrated graphics not having enough memory space. Sorry about that :/
Others like you have stated this only happens after some time, so what they usually do is restart the game before it starts to glitch so as to flush the graphics memory.
