For those OSX gamers, do we just reinstall and not update to the updated version?

Because I hope the update can accommodate, because it just crashes out whenever I try to press play (I'm assuming it's the Open GL 2 issue but I have no debug log to reference to with the updated version)

hotline miami is my only steam game. It no longer works and just crashes on my mac

I think it best to reinstall and make sure it stays the original version by making it not update at all (I believe the acheivements are still working and linked to the old version, but Rutger is the best chance at a good explanation)
