Levels gone!

All of my current levels (I was at the one after the PD enter the building) are gone, now I'm at the Prelude again. :( Any help/reason why?

Hey dude. Are you using the beta or the regular version?
Note that Hotline Miami doesn't use Steam cloud, so if you're on another computer it's normal you lost your progress.

Save file(s) location in case you want to copy them over to a new computer:

• In regular version: "<steamfolder>\steamapps\common\hotline_miami" and then you have all the files "achievements.dat", "keyboard.dat", "mask.nfo", "saves.dat", "stats.sav", and "tempsave.sav" which contain all the info about your progression (and settings in case of "keyboard.dat").
  
• In beta version: there's only one save file, located under "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\HotlineMiami\SaveData.sav"

I'm using the regular version, and I went in and edited the save file and turned it back to what it was. I don't know how it happened.
