Subtitles & language

So i tried to play with a polish subtitles, but it doesn't work. In my opitons I've got "polish" in language, but the game is still running with the eng subs. Any ideas why?

Are you playing Original or Updated version?
Only Updated version will perform according to your choices in the launcher, Original is, as the name suggest, the Original version, without possibility to change language, resolution, etc.

I have this problem too, with french language :-(

As I said, you can't use Hotline Miami with custom languages in Original version, you HAVE to use Updated version.

If that still doesn't work, go to "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\HotlineMiami", open "hotline.cfg" with notepad and verify that the line "language=0" is there. Replace 0 with the integer you wish from the following list:

• 0 - English
  
• 1 - French
  
• 2 - Brazilian Portuguese
  
• 3 - Spanish
  
• 4 - Russian
  
• 5 - German
  
• 6 - Polish

Save the file and try to launch UPDATED version once again.

I play in an update, but the language is English ..
the same method with "hotline.cfg" not working. although the figure is correct language

My OS is Win XP. But I tried with Win 7 and the french subtitles work good with this OS.
Is there any tips to use subtitles with Win XP?
