Why is the mac version of this game weird?

I try playing it on my friends mac and it went all glitchy it looked like something you'd see from a glitched nes game.

there was like parts of the intro cedits but it only happend in the updated version.

But there's only Updated version for Mac anyway, the Original doesn't exist for Mac unless I am mistaken.

well i had the launcher up and it said original and i played it and it was fine...

Really? I thought there was no Original version for Mac and Linux, only for Windows... O_o

mac user here. no problems as of yet. try changing your resolution.
