Achievements Not Unlocking

I just collected my 60th Starite and managed to unlock the Sister Savior achievement but I noticed that I wasn't given achievements for collecting 30, 40 and 50 i.e. the achievements 'Tony and the Outlaw', 'Bubbles’ Magical Aquatic Adventure', and 'Buzzing to the Stars'.

Is there a way to make the game recognise that I did these things already without having to wipe my save files and play through again? I searched the forums and saw someone suggesting deleting steam_api.dll worked for them but had no effect for me, and I don't really want to risk using an achievement unlocker.

I also have the same problem however the non-unlocking achievements are different for me, I still don't have the really early ones for roughly 6 starites even though I found 60 and basically completed the story. The "Sister Saviour" achievement unlocked but some early ones didn't and to be honest I don't want to go rooting around in my Steam folders just in case I break the game (it's happened before). I hope someone takes notice of this thread soon!

yup, similar issues. guess there's no fix and we'll have to live with the fact that we will never get all the achievements. disappointing.

Same here, I have 50 starites and no achievements, I wonder, what could be causing this?

I think if your game drops into offline mode during play any achievements that should have triggered during that time wont and that the game never rechecks to see if you deserve a achievement it failed to unlock at a previous time e.g. when you get a starite it will check if you have exactly 50 and if you do it will try give you the achievement for having 50. Ideally though it should be checking if you have 50 or more as well as checking on the load of a game.

Yeah, seeing similar here as well.

Seems someone forgot to properly code the Starite total achievements properly to account for offline play.

The ones I've missed were due to internet outages.
