what are object Shards?

so i am trying to fully 100% complete this game and i am wondering in the achievements what are object Shards? Are they the small pieces u get when u do side quest?

Check the pause menu. It has a list of object shards in one of the submenus. You have to spawn certain kinds of objects and use them in a certain way to get object shards.

object shards are like starite pieces like puzzels but instead you have to help people
if you have enough you can get a starite

I was wondering the same thing but I immediately assumed that they would be obtained by spawning certain objects.

Press the ESC button and it should show the menu and click the button that say Shards then press object shards and it should give you categories of object shards to do.
