Let us buy the rest of the game content
I see you have been putting alot of time into your other games ,Arena,Shadowrun online, etc. but you seem to have forgotten about this game, and seems to us Cliffhanger has given up on any future development. Or creating the online gaming enviroment we all hoped for when we all first started this journey. It's very disappointing to say the least, but there is still a way your company and the gamers can all walk away happy and satisfied, and that is Why not just sell us the rest of the content by DLC. If you release the rest of the missions and unlock the 6th merc slot, there really cant be any complaints because then atleast your customers wont feel as if we are getting half the game, or a unfinished game with half the map empty. You all have been sitting on money that could be already made pretty much. with the work already done.
Would like Cliffhanger to only respond to this message. I believe it's would be the right thing to do , to communicate and respond truthfuly to your customers on the issues they're concerned about.

Unfortunately the content you are talking about is in no state to be released. For those that stuck around long enough to having experienced where they went to: they might remember that we had several more mission and also some more weapons. A rebalancing during the beta phase (around may 2012) caused us to move from a 80 lvl system to a 50 lvl system. Some of the content was removed from the game due to the short notice of this change which caused us to not have enough time to balance everything. The intent was to add this content back in when we had time for it.
Since then a lot of balancing changed (e.g.JAO 2.0) considerably so releasing the content as is without working on it will most probably result in a mess (especially if it is paid only content).

As for the 6th merc slot: Currently enemies don't scale according the amount of mercs you take into a mission. This will probably result in far easier missions if we just enable it everywhere (even if everywhere only means level 50 missions). So we have to test/rebalance these changes if we would do it. I'll take that suggestion to the whole team(again) though to see if somebody can come up with a good idea for this.

Last thing: The next announcement for JAO should (finally) come next week.

@sHi113r: We already noted that request: It is one of the most suggested fixes for the low population problem. Sorry that I can't offer you a more satisfying answer.

Thank you for taken the time to reply... seriously appreciate you going into detail on the issue. We couldnt of asked for anything more, asfar as a answer to some of the questions alot of us have had.Whithout getting carried away with ourselfs with over expectations,I will say, this will give back the players a new found enthusiasm. With this game being one of the only online military, character progression , turn-based RPG's, that is available out there, puts this game in a category of it's own, and any expectations is merely scratching the surface on the potential of this game.Implementing some of the community suggestions i believe is the key.If I may .. If you look at Frontline Tactics, some of their features are needed like radomly generated missions, respawnable mobs for certaint missions, more mobs in missions depending on amount of char one uses,If you look at Kings and Legands and thier pvp room might give a idea on a easy way of having a matchup ,but adding some of the new things hopefuly would not need a overhaul on the game and it's mechanics. But the one thing Frontline doesn't have and I believe is why not many play it anymore, is one thing that JAO has, and thats customization. This game is a diamond in the rough. New players each day, and once you have added those changes more will come, old ones will come back, new ones will stay, I'm sure of it. The dlc's will be pleasantly received at a discounted price from the community, we always look forward to new stuff, I know there will be a few that will fuss about paying again, but if it's less then the base game they will understand , like alot of games have done and did well with.I'm hoping my statements on production are not taken wrongly, but thank you again.

I'm pleased you're still developing this game. I'm still playing it and look forward to future updates.

Reposted jan 18.---For some people who are looking for answers or replys on the matter of progression or the future of the game.I'm hoping as much as most of you all I can start playing again.Hoping like most of us that they add the rest of the missions and hopefuly random missions, also fix mainly the main issues like the pvp. If they do that, this game will be awesome, and a good money maker for them if they keep adding DLC'S and new mercs. I bought the Echo merc, not because i still play, but hoping that if they get enough support from the community that they can realize this project to the potencial it has. Lets hope this come to be.
