Age of Conan: Unchained (US Version)

Age of Conan: Unchained (US Version)

I don't know if its "uncensored" anymore but..
There should be a warning on the store page of almost-full frontal nudity with female characters. I don't know if they censored that recently, but back when there was just a trial to play this game...you could pretty much strip down to JUST a loin cloth...as in...breasts fully exposed, and nicely textured I might add.

Im not against it, if its still there, but there should be a warning incase any little kids/or parents who let their kids on their steam account to play PC games..see this game.

yeah the game is rated M for mature..but strangely is not in the steam game info...probably they will change it soon.
Zorvan 23 feb, 2013 @ 22:20
How about those parents do their job and not let little Timmy play M rated games instead of you needing warnings placed everywhere? Hmm? Yeah.
PrettyWeirdMan 23 feb, 2013 @ 22:21

Considering (when I last played) you couldn't see the vagina/penis....it doesn't completely count, but its pretty freaking close...

While I agree with you completely...you honestly think parents pay that much attention? It's sad how many of them dont..

But that's not our problem, or Funcom's.
The game's sexy bodice was 'reduced' from genitalia to a g-string (thong for yanks) long ago. It was a massive insult to us mature age players (the licence is from the 30 ffs and appealed to mature age players or highly competitive pvper's (teenagers; Crom bless their testosterone charged balls), but it happened. Any less makes the game less. Please dont ask for any more. See end of post.

An FYI; There is a chat censor option in the menu system to disable naughty words in chat's, too. Not much for the visuals, but it's there.

This is NOT a childrens game. Just like a movie, you wouldn't let them watch Aliens or Taratnino flics there are some very 'real-life' and brutal storylines. For example 4 out of 5 child-rescue quests dont end well. Even the humour can be grim at times. It's a fight to the end. But it's involving. And intelligent in its character design. It's definately not WoW.

You've nothing to lose.

It's Hyboria.

Unless labeled as such, actually it could be a problem, to either STEAM, or Funcom. But I guess, there wasn't really a warning on The Witcher 2, or the first game, so I guess you can't expect a free MMO to do it. I only thought it was kind of weird considering its EXTREMELY easy for a kid to just get into this, or for a parent to just allow their kid to play, thinking its just like most other rated M games they play. (Most rated M games don't have graphic nudity, if any at all, its mostly Violence/Adult language crap.)

It is labeled as such, that "M" you keep mentioning. Regardless of what other games have in their "M" games, the "M" rating covers nudity. That "M" is all the warning Funcom is required to give.

So is it really that weird, or stupid, to think there should be 1 line of text mentioning nudity? >.> Considering it's a FREE game. Scarlet Blade...another game, not even as graphic as this, has their warnings all over that game.

Don't mind the gore or decapitations.. Just keep those boobies away from my kids!

Sadly parents are like that...which is kind of stupid to allow certain REALLY adult things, but not allow something like that..

Oh come on its just boobs.... they covered the vajayjay nearly the day the game released cause the idiots out there had a fit.

I was ready to type up a witty remark about the M rating being on the front of the download screen and that it always states the REASON why it is rated M... Look at Call of Duty: Black Ops II http://store.steampowered.com/app/202970/ the M on the right side near the info says:
Blood and Gore
Intense Violence
Strong Language
Suggestive Themes
Use of Drugs
Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB

And I was ready to say the same about AoC (with the included line about Nudity)... but when I went to their store page... it doesnt require an age verification to view it (like CoD does) and it doesnt even have the M rating on the side.... =/

check it out for yourself: http://store.steampowered.com/app/218170/

So unfortunately, as much as I was wanting to say "See! It's right on the front page! If somebody doesnt read it then it's their own fault!!!!1!!" but alas, I cannot... because it isnt there =(
