What A Waste Of Money

It is very similar to anther game around a while ago with a similar name. Except this one takes away all of the best features and leaves it with, well nothing really. No control over what country to play, no world map, no major control in being able to shape things, and unrealistic, all internal policy matters, no real opportunity to shape the country. Is there any way to get a refund? This is probably the worse game I have ever played. Actually it is the worst.

I hear what your saying but you don't need to have direct knowledge of something for it to be unrealistic. Go watch the claymation in 'Jason and the argonauts' then unless you have experience battling creatures from lore don't tell me that it looks ridiculous..

I absolute aggree with the OP, Democracy 1 was way better than this crap.I made the mistake to buy it years ago, this game is old, overpriced and boring.

Here here. Game is rubbish, waste of $20. Random crashes, arbitary selection of bizzarely labelled make believe countries and over the top responses to policy changes (apparently the population of most countries are just itching to get into "class warfare"). "They'd rather the poor were poorer so long as the rich were relatively less rich" - M. Thatcher, could have been describing the gameplay of Democracy II.

While it's not the worst, this game was disappointing. I like the theory behind it, but the actual execution so far has left me cold.

It's presently on sale. I have not yet purchased it however as I refuse to pay more than 5 dollars at the mot for a game that involves monitoring sliders and looking at charts. This game seems costly to me.
