Bad sound?

Is anyone else experiencing really bad sound?
Most of the sounds for the Game have what sounds like static.
I know it isn't on my end...I'm playing a few other Games and the sound is fine.

I had an issue just like this with Geneforge on my HP laptop. Turned out they had bad custom audio drivers. Update your drivers and if that doesn't work try a USB headset (which I had to use for a couple of months waiting for HP).
