Oh yeah, we have serious problems....
Once the editor comes out, first mod I make is one to give the guard's their original sound effects. Not that I dislike the new ones, but the originals were so classic and silly.
It's funny and ironic that people miss things that were only a product of lack of technology at the time. They made the installation resemble a world war II style castle because that was kind of the inspiration in the first place. I don't particularly miss bland walls, but I did love some of the wide open spaces and tall ceilings.
I second this. It was very enjoyable to "stun lock" enemies with mp40 while they where shouting "UGH AGH OH AGH". Same thing applied for jumping on top of them and stomping them to death, "AGH UGH AGH OGH ohhhh... Loved it.
