wbacon, when release a patch? I want to enjoy the game and not be angry because of the graphic bugs. I have a very bad mood because of the fact that my favorite game broke. I very much hope that you will answer me.

Issues (Graphics related):

- ANTI ALIASING is causing some strange black outline over character´s models and some objects

- Trough the game there are some vfx effects with broken tranparency, like the water effects in the screenshots below:

- Some lighting vfx effects are not scaling with the game resolution like it was in the GFWL version, using any resolution above 1280x720 will cause these issues trough all the game:

- Some gameplay related issues:

- in main game, player can´t exchange weapons with the AI partner
- In "Desperate Escape" DLC, the game loads an wrong model of Jill ,
- In "Lost in Nightmares" DLC Jill is missing some of her extra speech from console´s version
- in Mercenaries Reunion Barry is missing some melee voice speech from console´s version

It's not all bugs that people have found.

If I'm right, Resident Evil HD Remaster hasn't been patched at all (And I assume it will never be patched) Yet, there is more than 1200 replies to the "Bug Reporting Thread" (http://steamcommunity.com/app/304240/discussions/0/622955136053857025/)

So... I wouldn't be surprised if they do not patch this game too, it's Capcom we are talking about after all... I hope I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure they will not bother patching their mess with the Steamworks migration.

well guess we can also get refunds.I dont have a game on steam to be forced to torrent it to play it.No game = no money.

Devs were supposed to improve their game, not downgrade it. I guess I'll wait for the patch then buy a gold edition update.

I don't know what possibly could have make the game more demanding on specs just for changing it to Steamworks. The minimum specs have been boosted at the store page, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for the ones that was playing the game with the GFWL minimum specs. I'll have no problems at all, but I sympathize.
CAPCOM makes me sick, that's no news. They can't do nothing right. NEVER.
I'm still hoping to activate my retail key and I'm not buying the Gold Edition until it gets a reasonable sale.

Pretty much the same here. I'd gladly buy the gold DLC at full price because unlike the above poster, Capcom has done PLENTY right; it's just that they borked up the QA for RE5 steamworks. They've come a long way from their piracy paranoia that made them not release gold edition on PC in the first place. But only when I know they've fixed it. No point in buying DLC for a game I can't even start in the first place.

we in the same boat, I just broke down and decided to send an email to their customer service, odds are I will hear nothing back

that why i left the disc gfwl version installed as well as digital ver on steam still unable to activate key

I'm not having any issues with the game. Just lacking the save import tool. None of my friends, even with laptops are having issues like that either. Make sure you try all the basic stuff. Like deleting the entire RE5 folder, and reinstalling. Removing from Steam can leave files behind since some files from old RE5 don't exist in new RE5. And running the DX file from the folder as well just to double check.
