Patch 1 Fixes By Maluc.

Finally!!,this was I waiting for,those region lock make servers empty,but not anymore!!!And Annoying bugs also fixed!!

This is a fan made patch to fix things up.
This is not officially approved by CAPCOM,
use it on your own risk.


PATCH #1 FIXES
--------------

- GFWL NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR PLAYING
Games for Windows Live is no longer required to launch
and play the game.

- TRADE WEAPONS WITH YOUR PARTNER
You are now able to give and request weapons from your
partner without restrictions.

- VERSUS MODE DEFAULT WEAPON DROP
Now you no longer lose your default weapon in
VERSUS MODE: SURVIVORS/TEAM SURVIVORS when you get
killed, like in the console version.

- REGION LOCK
You are now able to see and join ALL open game session
from ALL regions in all game modes.
IMPORTANT: people from other regions without this patch
still can't see your session because they're
game is still region locked!

- COUNTRY CODE
The game now shows again the correct country flag when
you host a game session and when you upload scores to
the leaderboards.
IMPORTANT: games from people without this patch will
still send the wrong country code and show
the wrong flag!

HOW TO INSTALL

--------------

The fix contains:
- Launcher.exe
- xlive.dll

Go to your Steam folder where Resident Evil 5 is installed.
usually in: C:\*****\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 5

Copy and paste the Launcher.exe and xlive.dll into your
Resident Evil 5 folder and override the old versions.
Launch the game as usual and the fixes will take place.

i hope a lot of people get the fix so the servers are full now.
Maluc did a great Job!

It's such a shame that fans like Maluc need to sacrifice their free time to fix the things developer messed up.
They have easy access to the source code of the game to fixe things and get payed for that ♥♥♥♥ but do nothing....

Now Capcom could again take a fan made fix and release a patch, as they did for Patch #1 LOL

Yes, I'm pretty sure that they did so for official Patch #1, and not do anything himself. They just take all fans' fixes and package them for Steam LOL

Yes, I'm pretty sure that they did so for official Patch #1, and not do anything himself. They just take all fans' fixes and package them for Steam LOL

i wouldn't even say that Capcom toke the mods, but the extern team/company that portet that mess.. yeah i think so, they just toke the mods from us and packed them in the "patch" and sold that to Capcom. They barely did anything modders didn't already fixed. And what they tried to fix got broke...

the only bad thing about this fan mad patch i see is that Capcom now have less reason to make another patch because someone did the work for them... unpaid again.

This patch is wonderful and makes it possible to actually get into public games again without resorting to the GFWL version. Now all we need is something to help with the terrible pathfinding the enemies have and we are good to go
