Soren Johnson is a designer?

If Soren Johnson(Civ 5 designer) is going to supervise any future stardock games, Ill pass on every other game made by Stardock. Thank you, but no. Even though Civ 5 is an addictive title, it is bland, never fixed with G&K. I like Stardock so far, maybe because they are a small developing company which cares about their fans, but if they are going to hire a man raised in corporate environment, I guess, there is nothing fresh he'd suggest.

Glad to see you really have your facts in order. Soren Johnson designed Civ 4 but not 5. Jon Shafer was lead dev on Civ 5 and the second Civ 4 expansion and he was involved in Fallen Enchantress - he designed the campaign. However Jon has now left Stardock and is working as an independent developeer on At the Gates. Soren Johnson is working for a short time with Stardock before moving on to other things. If you're going to make stupid statements at least get the facts correct

Where did you see a stupid statement? The one that I think Civ is bland? With no improvements over the years? And that I dont want FE to become the same?

I dont hate the game. I just want it to be better. They introduce some great features in one version, in the next they are all removed. Who is responsible for this? Not a game designer?

Soren was the lead designer of Civ 4 which is one of the best 4X/TBS games ever made, he also worked on Civ 3 but he didn't work on Civ 5? Surely having him help make future Stardock games is a good thing?

Assuming he's working on ALL their games is kinda dumb. I mean, at least double check your info with a second source before making an arse of yourself on a forum by declaring your distaste for a situation that does not even exist.
