latest update seemed to wreck my controller

when i try using a offical wireless xbox controller with adapter, it works fine, except that in game, the right stick moves the mouse, and the gateway icons that usually show pictures of the left and right triggers show a mouse instead, as if im using keyboard and mouse. if the mouse leaves the screen, it goes back to the pictures of triggers, but because the right stick moves the mouse, it does not stay that way. i tried uinstalling drivers and reinstalling the game as well. no luck.

There's nothing in Gateways that should move the mouse by using the controller. Do you have any other software installed that handles controller input?
