The missions make no sense, you go through hell and back to assemble a boat and then after you do so there is a boat ever 2o meters around the map. so whats the point of assembling one
weapons are scarce and under powered. youll survive longer using a machete than a machine gun
ammo is scarce as hell
there are glitches in graphics and lighting
all this game will do is anger you. not worth playing let alone purchasing in my opinion. youd probably regret even pirating it.

I just hate the overly scripted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You have no choice but to follow wherever the map says or where people tell you to go. And yeah slow movement in any game is retarded. So glad this had a free weekend so I was able to tell how terrible this game is.

ammo isn't that scarce because you can buy it from npc or make it yourself once you find the blueprint. and what zombie is op man thats first when i can kill zombie in one shot from gun (its call head shot) if you can't aim for head with gun then no wonder why you are wasting ammo and they are scarce for you.
and if you use melee weapon make sure you repair them or else they are dead useless

btw i'm happy with this game but i wish they would added more mission and even harder zombie where i can't kill them in one to five shot at the head with my gun.

Well its quite fun. Though I admit its a little "different" in terms of how it plays. I dont like the dummed down nature of the design. A guiding hand would have been good, but yeah the way it pinpoints where you have to go is to 2010s.

I like bouth DI games, especially in coop mode, I had a lot of fun playing with friends. Ok, sometimes you have a bad connection and steam throw you out of the game, but most of the time it's no problem to reenter to your friends. In singleplayer mode I had no problems, the game runs almost perfekt on my side?

Meh, I agree on the Zombies being somewhat "OP", I guess... I just hate how I can whack a common walker with a fully upgraded Gold/Yellow/Orange/whatevers weapon (the same level as I am) for like a whole minute, and it's like "huh, what?";
Also I guess the firearm headshot lacks power: receiving two headshots should get any zombie with an obvious non-mutated head killed... right? Well at above lv. 20 the zombies become so bullet spongy it's hilarious. Anyways waiting for the PC modes to re-balance damage and fix the narrow FoV.
On the other hand, if people are so fine with borderland's bullet-spongey gameplay, I don't see why can't they at least enjoy dead island

I love both these games. Riptide is shorter but the gameplay itself is a little tighter, tunnels and buildings are shorter and less of a maze, the looting and trading system is more usable with shops more frequently accessible and co-op jumping in and out is as smooth as you please.

My computer is a good one but it is 7 years old now and runs this game just fine. I choose higher res output but lower res textures etc.

The zombies will be less OP when you start putting Level-Up points into your Skill Tree. This isn't Borderlands where you can eventually out-level the enemies, instead here your character gains strength over enemies from the points you put in your skill tree. Plan ahead as you can't reassign points and put at least one or two into your attributes during Fury, you must use this at two points during the main game and a point or two will help. You level up fast so if you make a mistake you'll have another point soon.

Each character has a bias towards particular weapons and play-styles, this is reflected in the skill tree. Use that bias and choose weapons or pick the character whose bias suits you best. You can increase XP and damage as well as decrease stamina cost and weapon degradation with each character's preferred weapon type. You can also decrease the level advantage of an enemy 1, 2 or 3 levels higher than you.

My favourite is Xian with melee bladed weapons, but play her more carefully as she gets knocked down easier. If you prefer guns I've seen people in co-op using guns to great effect with Sam B and Purna, but read up online to see what other people's experiences are.

If the game changes your Audio just rebalance it. You may have to rebalance your System audio or the game's audio or both to get it the way you want.
