Latest problems in Riptide

i've encountered two new worrisome problems in DI Riptide
1. i have been playing co-op with a friend since i got the game, we have characters we use exclusively for our games...yet just yesterday the co-op has stopped working. we cannot join each others games no matter the method we use.
2. i have encountered horrble lag spikes, seemingly only when i throw grenades or explosives, molotovs are unaffected, even suiciders blowing up cause short lag spikes; but player thrown explosives cause my game to be unplayably lagged even on the lowest settings (before this explosives worked fine and i played at med to high settings

has anyone else enountered these problems? i'm hoping i'm not the only one

I experienced lag when using flairs but had no problems with co-op or grenades.

I've noticed it with the shock type explosives, so I stopped using them.

I haven't encountered any problems at all. I haven't tried Co-Op yet though. For me, the game just runs sluggish, most likely because my PC is just a standard one, nothing special in it.

well co-op is working again, but the grenade problem still is around, though i have been able to narrow it down to sonic grenades and explosives as the culprit of the lag-a-thon i've been having during fights

Achievements still arent synching to steam :(
