How to make the dead bodies stay for a while
Hey guys, I enjoy this game a lot. But right now I notice one frustrating side of this game is onec you kill the zombies, turn around do someting, and turn back and you find the dead bodies are all gone. Why? this is like some bad made movie, I know dead bodies occupy memory, but I got 8 GB RAM, and this game dosent have to make the bodies stay forever, just make them say there a little bit longer. Is there any console command I could use to achieve this thing??

Yeah, I have checked this. I open this file, and open Data0 by WinRAR. But, I still couldn't find any command related to the deadbodies stay. Can you tell me which script file contains such command? Thanks.

I am also interested in making corpses stay a little longer.

By any chance did you find any keybinding in Data 0, because I hoping to keybind alcohol.

Hey I take a look at menue/ controlls in Data0, all I see is different pad button according to different action. So I assume that there isnt key binding item but there is key binding action. I think we should go to moding community to post our questions.

I also had a look and all I saw was the same, different pad button.

I am wondering if there is anything in Data 1 now, do I open it up and have a peek.

It makes the game feel cheap when the respawn of zombies is so fast and the fact that gameplay elements such as dead bodies dissapear as soon as you turn your back. Not only that but it's frustrating going through an area you cleared of zombies and finding the exact same amount and variant of zombies in said area. Its's like you never killed those very same ones... The respawn aspect is worse then the first Dead Island.

Maybe designer wants the player to farm gold, zombie, XP or anything more often. That may explain why the bodies not stay there for long. Kill a zombie, zombie respawn, and body gone.

Why can't it just be simple source scripting, would have made it so much easier.

I am wondering if I can just replace a certain file, if I can actually find it with a dead island 1 file.

I check the dead island 1, and everyfile is the same except the first letter being captalized. Sigh, what is wrong with the riptile then?? Whats more frustrating is I find out I couldn't change anything in the script file. Any idea ?

Late reply, and I have no idea, unless the games coding is limited.
