Anyone changed their FOV?

I read online that it is possible to change your field of view by copying the files to the out folder which is where mods are placed. Has anyone done this? As i am worried about getting VAC banned, so want assurance :) Thanks

It works but be warned : YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIRE A GUN

The aiming utterly messes up, and I cannot play in the low FOV given, it makes me sick.. This game is unplayable to me and it really shouldn't be.

I will not be getting the new Dead Island 2 if the FOV option is not there

In this forum there's a pinned topic, DI: Riptide Helper. Go there, download it and with that you'll be able to adjust a lot of options you otherwise couldn't in the game, like the FOV.

Thanks for the reply :) So you can confirm that you have changed your FOV using the methid i showed and didnt get a VAC ban? :)

You're welcome... Just don't shoot yourself in the foot... I did that so many times before I just gave up with the game

Why not down the user made app tool? With it you can change the FOV and so much more.

Thanks for the help, but as i said before, the FOV is all i wanted, and i can do it manually. thanks though!
