This is like an interactive movie, only duller.
I cant believe I wasted $2 on it.

Cant wait for the sequil... "Walking aimlessly in a building"

Seriously, if there was a fork in the road, where you actually had some sort of choice, it would have some gaming value...

The way it is though, it is like playing through the cutscenes in a 1990 SNES game. If you like pressing "X" to contine.... this might be the game for you!

This forum post is the only entertainment I will get from that $2 it seems...

There were forks in the road. There are multiple endings if I am not mistaken, based upon the choices that you make while in the game. You can chose to search certain parts of the areas or you can completely ignore them and just rush past them. It had a good enough story to it to keep it interesting.

Hey $1.50 for a little entertainment is not bad at all. I find this interesting, not your average run and gun type of game.You should always do a good background check on a game before you purchase it. YouTube has many videos reviews of this game.

This game isn't about story, but about a situation. I played it through in 58 minutes and it was okay IMO. I kinda enjoyed the love for small details in it like picking up the handgun but then deciding to put it back in its shelf and such things.

For people who played C64-games and Amiga-games decades ago, this game might also be a friendly reminder of the dark ages of gaming.

But, Amnesia and Dear Esther are completely different games. I haven't played Dear Esther yet but I've been told about it and not liking it is totally understandable. But judging Amnesia from it doesn't make sense. Amnesia is completely and utterly different.
