What was on that tape?? (spoilers!)

I ve finished the whole story plot last night, but I don't know this one thing- what was on a tape I ve found in the factory... I ve finished game but with no answers at all, what happened there. I couldnt find a way to play the video tape- what was on it. The game is too boring to play it again ( for me), so please answer-what was on tape, and what happened in that forest...

In a room back in the sewers, when you get the keys off of the dead guard/sewage worker you can enter a previous locked room with a VHS player. All it said was that the tape was blurry like someone had tried to destory it and it showed the dead security guard being killed.

so, whatever you do in this game you won't get an answer of what happend at all? Is there somebody who know what acctually happened there and who is the murderer??

I think the point of the game is that it is subject to interpretation based on what you find and the choices you make. Interesting little indie game in my opinion

@davidboots I know, but maybe there is some way leading us to ultimate solution- to find out who the murderer is. I've asked cause its too boring to play this game more than once for me.

@darknightwing this game is so freaky that even all the world and the monsters could be only dream of this boy. There is a theory about bus crash (the Director-bus driver?) and victims of this crash. Our character was injured in this accident and had all this world in his head (interrupted by taking pills and sessions with doctors). It's only theory but trustfull :)

There are a ton of little theories here and there, which is why the game is so interesting to me. Thing is, I'm /certain/ that Ben has a real story plotted out in his mind as to what really happened. Nobody puts so many small details into a story without something overall in mind. And he's mentioned occasional updates that will add more to the game, so subsequent playthroughs will detail more clues, like (speculation time, but this is what has been insinuated by Ben and wanted by us fans) access to the trainyard, being able to use the shovel from the first part of the game, and some explanation behind the hole in the side of the water tower.

So, no, there's no ultimate answer to the mystery. Yet.

sorry... I made a mistake. I recently played on Lone Surviwal, and I thought this was about LS game :). But what You are writing about Home is also interesting. I think Ben got some kind of schizofremia. He is the Killer, and he killed Rachel and the others. But I am not sure althrought :P.

After you get the keys from the dead guard, go back and unlock the door in the "sewers" for lack of a better word. You'll find a room where you can play the tape. It lets you know what happened to the dead guy.

The image on the tape was distorted and hard to make out (from what I remember reading), I think it showed two men killing someone? Or maybe it was just two men, one killing the other. It didn't explain much, I don't think you're missing much, but I suppose whether you watched it or not would affect the ending you got.
