Stuck in Attic

I've been exploring for a while, and found the attic in Norman's shop where the box containing Rachel's clothes is. I am not able to interact with the ladder and cannot progress further without doing so. If anyone knows a fix for this I'd greatly appreciate it!

I was stuck there too. You must drag your mouse to the ladder and right click on it, it worked for me.

Yeah, sorry about this! The v1.4.4 update fixed this bug.

I couldn't even get into the attic. I kept clicking on the ladder after tugging the rope and it wouldn't do anything.

I played the game this evening and had exactly the same issue. I could pull the rope to make the ladder descend, but afterwards I couldn't click on it despite it being highlighted. From reading some of the other comments I'm just glad that there wasn't anything really important up there!
