is this one worth buying as a local co-op game?
4.99 seems a good deal for this kinds of games. and i am seeking some games with local co-op option. i am not interested in online co-op since i don't like chatting using keyboard while keeping the game going on. but i do like local coop games, you can sitting in front of your pc talking and playing with your friends. so does anyone try the local co-op mode? if it is fluent and no lag, i will get it

rocketbirds is not the best for coop but you have a different campaign so its interesting. for a 2d platform game you have rayman origins not the same price but its the best game in his category.

i got rayman origins on the pc release day. it is the best 2D platform game i ve ever played. i have played it with my friend for over 50 hours. but as you see, it is really hard to find an amazing 2d platform game like rayman origins. i find some 2d games that look fun but no local coop supported. comparing rocketbirds with rayman, i have to say rayman is way much better, but rocketbirds still has local co op option which makes me interested. if it is a single player game, then i won't bother even the price is lower than $4.99. it is sad that there are few games like rayman origins...

Some of my favorite Steam games with local co-op are: KungFu Strike, Castle Crashers, Lara Croft and the GoL, Capsized, Trine 1 and 2, (especially 2), Sideway New York (a platformer), A Virus Named TOM, and Colour Bind.

thanks for the recommendation, i ve got some good local co-op games, but i saw some good platformer games without local co-op option which make my feel a little disappointed
There are about 150 local coop games for the PC listed here: http://pccouchcoop.com

yeah, I ve seen that list, so many games in that list. but i personally love to play 2D platformer games with friends. so there are not a lot of options

Totally worth it, yes. You'll have fun on more than one sitting with a friend. (no more than three sittings though, so it's optimal)
