Finally Flash support for Linux has been abandoned by Adobe, so no more updates and thus these bugs won't be fixed.
The game runs under Linux and I bought it, but had I known it's Flash I would not have bought it...
Idem ditto ... good thing it was cheap.
Imho, this shouldn't be sold like this.
- Sound is delayed about 1/2 second (can be fixed, but I had to search a lot...)
- Mouse cursor overlaps ingame cursor (annoying, but not such big of an issue)
- Achievements don't work for me (fortunately I don't care for them, but I guess a lot of people do). Perhaps it has to do because I had to rename the executable in order to fix the sound delay
- Right-click results in the game not responding to anything
- Game runs okay, but scrolling feels like 15 FPS, after playing some time, I get a little bit headache. Yes my PC has enough power...
- Finally this game was advertized having full controller support. But it doesn't even recognize my controller.
Fortunately it was cheap and that's the reason I bought it. But these problems hurt this otherwise good game a lot.
And all flash games I own cause problems. Some more, some less. So for me I will avoid flash as far as it's possible - and I did not know this was a flash game - perhaps I missed something in the description, don't know. And this thread is thought as a warning for all other users that also made bad experiences with flash and want to avoid it.
Maybe you should try the demo version before purchasing as well?
Actually I don't regret buying it, despite the bugs I had fun. I only said, I would not have bought it, if I had known it was flash (I don't think this is gramatically correct ;))
But now as I bought it, I can't change it and I think it was worth the money. But it could have been a lot better.
This thread is for people, who don't know it's flash and might reconsider their purchase.
Bottom Line: Please Devs, develop for Linux, that's great. But please don't use Flash in the future.
It's a real shame, as from trying to play it briefly it seems like it would be a great game if flash wasn't killing it.
That being said, it does look pretty cool for a flash game. But I don't want to spend what little money I have on a dev that's too lazy to learn openGL. Screw flash.
