Game Maker Studio Crashing
Hi everyone

I've just started using Game Maker Studio on my new Windows 8 system and everything was going fine until I stated the coding tutorial game. It was going fine until I started trying to include code relating to ini files and index_ references. This is when the program will stop and close down with no error codes or anything.

Does anyone know why this might be and how I can fix it as I really want to use this to its full potential.

im running it fine on windows 8 with that code so its not windows 8.

Ok, so apparently it hadn't installed the most up to date version. I've updated to the free version of the latest release and that seems to have fixed it.

Game Maker Studio has had a bug with the pop up auto complete box, disable it and that should stop it from crashing.
