Unable to update game on Steam Workshop

Whenever I try to update my game, the compile is complete but the game's Steam Workshop page never gets updated. I tried to do it many times and it still doesn't work. I tried to upload an empty game file there and it did work. I assumed I had to wait longer for it to finish updating if I uploaded the real file. Nope. I tried uploading the actual game and there's still nothing even though it had been many, many hours. What can I do?

I figured someone would say this
I've already done this twice and it doesn't help.

Well, it's still not working after like the 20th attempt or so.
I'm a bit disappointed because I actually put a lot of time on this one and all I have on that Steamworks page now is an empty game. Is there really no solution for this?
