Using Window's 8 and can't play

Yeah I know, this is quite normal to be unable to play this game but I'm 100% sure that Compatabilty mode isn't on and I can't get the game to run. I don't even see anything pop up. It just will not play at all. I get no error memos what-so-ever... I'm sure there's nothing that can be done. But that is a shame... And I hope somebody has some type of fix for me. Or something.

Open the Half-Minute Hero directory. drop it in the folder.

If you get no sound after that, download and install this.
