SMB Laggyness

IDK why, buy, Meat boy is really laggy. The controls are somewhat unresponsive. The way it plays is kind of irritating. There's a pretty large gap of time between when you press the move buttons and when the character moves. Nt huge, but, large enough to cost you lives on specific jumps. Anyone have a similar issue with it?

I find that Meat Boy and Spewer are both awful in that department. Fortunately, the real Super Meat Boy game isn't that laggy.
