Game Will Not Start Up

I was given this game as a gift, I started downloading it last night, about 40% completed I lost connection. When I got connection back I finished the download. Everytime I try to start the game though I get the windows pop up message "Problem has accured and windows will shut down the program" and only option is the button saying "Close program". How do I got about redownloading the game since it was gifted to me? I do not see no download button again anywhere in library tab before and after I delete the game folder for the game.
