Not the same style, but Divinity II: Dragon Knight Saga is in the same series by the same developer, and has a similar approach to questing, exploring, and dialogue.

i was looking into sacred gold as that had been mentioned before, but not the others, i will look, sry for not really klnowing any of these, this is a new (and brilliant) genre for me

just bought all of the suggested games on this thread, now i have a large backlog, just in time as I have finished my playthrough of divine divinity and eschalon book 1 :D

You shoold also try Avernum: Escape From the Pit and Avadon The Black Fortress.Both old school style.

Yeah, Beyond Divinity, Divinity II, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Diablo, etc.. (Divinity II is apparently one hell of a game, and Divinity III comes out next year. Keep it mind that Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate aren't exactly Hack N' Slash. If you want purely Hack N' Slash? Dungein Siege and DS2 are great.
