Game keeps crashing

OK at first it would crash upon launching, at the black screen. So I uninstalled it and re-installed it. Now it will crash before it gets to the title screen or it crashes at random while I'm playing.

Anyone have any solutions?

I have the same problem - black screen. And it wouldn't progress any further but crash, like you said. It's a bummer since it's friday night/saturday morning. :/

For some reason updating my graphic card (660- Ti) driver to the most updated version seemed to help. It hasn't crashed "yet".

No such luck for me, updated my graphics card but I'm still getting a black crash screen.

try changen your in game resolution. u can change it in the game file if u cant get that far in game

I just got a windows update, which included a directx update I think, so Magic's back up and running. :)
(Update: somehow I have undone the benefits of the system update with unnecessary updates, which I have uninstalled, but the damage has been done. I'm back to square one.)

Try updating directx manually. You can download it from microsofts website.

I have checked directx, and it won't install manually, because it is up to date. And I can't find the update which fixed the problem before I blew it in my update list, so I can't reinstall it.

Also out of interest, is anyone running Windows 10? If so, is Magic running alright or is it a no - go?

Just telling everyone who might still have the problem, I am now running Windows 10. And the problem is STILL HERE.
