2 Players?

I am planning to get the game when we get a sale but I want to know, does each player need a copy of SA2 and the Battle DLC to do 2 player verse mode or can you use one PC with just one copy of the game?

One but you will need 2 controllers.

There is actually a tool\Mod you can use known as "SA2B Battle Network" You can download the latest version on a thread on Sonic Retro And Learn About It And How It Works.

Does it work like an online random match up?

I am super late, but I got the DLC for my sister and I to play, and I have a keyboard as well as a PS3 controller that I use for controller based gameplay. I can't seem to figure out how to use both to play the 2 player mode... Can you help?

Only thing I could think of is to look in the launcher is the controlls are set up correclty. Player 2 is off by default i think.

Yep, I never thought to check the launcher, I had it set to double keyboards and not gamepad. Thanks alot

Hey, What remote were you using to play with "One Keyboard and a controller."
Because I have a ps4 remote, and nothing else and I'm not sure if you could use ps4 remote and keyboard.

I used a ps3 controller and scptoolkit to connect it or whatever with steam, A ps4 controller is also an option
