Crashes after a few minutes of playing

My game crashes after minutes of playing I have windows 8, but I also have all the the other recommended specifications. Has anyone else had this problem?

Recently installed new windows 8.1 and it seems to have fixed all problems with this game. It might be worth a try.

Thanks for the tip, if that doesnt work i found out it only crashes if you kill too many enemies at a time, kill an entire three person row of enemies with the flamethrower, or shoo a big guy with a shotgun.

Me too. First day I played for hours, but not anymore. :( Is there any way to use compatability mode with it?

Hello everybody, this is a known issue for the devs, and they say it's an issue with Windows 8. They also said they would work on a fix for it, but that was months ago and they're working on a new game. As for the Windows 8.1 fix, I don't know anything about it, but it can't hurt to try it. Running the game in compatability mode was offered as a solution in a previous post, but I've had no luck with it. Real shame too, this game is fun as hell when it works.

OK, updated to Windows 8.1 to test that solution, no luck here, still crashes after blasting big guys with the shotgun or killing a lot of enemies at once.
