Fame Bug?

I'm getting very strange fame deductions as a defender. The tally says I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ +4%, but the home sheet says i've lost 5%. This happens so often its frustrating. Also, quitting for the night and coming back the next day sometimes results in fame loss for no reasons also. Please fix.

Also, i've noticed a trend. What the manager says about fame addition doesn't do anything at all. Unless its fame gained from camera shots. Star man, playing well and all others doesnt add to the home sheet. Whenever I don't score a game as a defender, fame drops even though i get a star man and fame addition from manager review.

This fame bug seems to only affect defenders. No goals and camera shots seems to imply no fame.

update: seems camera shots are the only way for me to gain fame consistantly, i'm now defender who doesnt care about defending but steadily getting fame from camera shot celebrations and the sponsors are coming in.

Fame drops gradually over time yes. Im a midfielder. Having no fame as a defender is rubbish. It also depends on your club. You might get it a bit slower but you still get it. Also not that important. Im currently ranked 12xx of the world with only 60% fame. It's not that important.

But fame does drop, you dont get automaticly famous. Also get a girlfriend

Also if you are a defender and not defeding you are playing bad, resulting in not getting fame.

I constantly get lots of tackles and starmans, yet fame is consistantly dropping. Go try it and let me know if you get the same.

If you read carefully, i mentioned I have been playing well until I gave up defending and went straight to attack, only way to get fame.
My rating was 9.8 or 9.9 when I was still playing the full defender role, which is alot of starman and good performance, and yet fame keeps dropping.

I'm 100 fame now as a defender attacking and scoring completely ignoring defending, so it kinda contradicts your statement of not defending thus resulting in bad play and no fame.

Than what club are you at?

I'm playing for an egyptian team right now. None of those huge or famous leagues. Salary is about 6k. No girlfriend unlocked.

There is another gamer on the board having the same problem as a defender I believe.

That explains it. Thats the reason i asked in the first post (or another topic). Your league and club is to....how do you say it. It's to small. So you might be a star because your club has such a low profile your fame will decrease since not alot of people watch your club.

Think of it, say messi played as well as he does now but at a club in argentinia. Sure we would hear of him but he woudnt be the world star he is today, that's because barcelona is a much bigger club.

If you want easier fame and also keep it go to a more famous club (bigger league also helps).

Still, it's not a bug. It's your league. Kinda obvious dont you think? You cant be a world star in egypt. No one really cares about football there lol
