Runtime error for FTL

It says "This application has the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix this?

Is it the "Microsoft Visuals C++ Runtime Error" Because I have been getting that...

I had it only when I tried to continue my game from before the update. The problem was (I assume) that my gamesave wasn't compatible as things changed in easy\normal as well. I got the runtime error as well, but everything was fine once I started a new game.

I also have this, the error pops up when I open the game and it has finished loading. I had unisntalled the game a while ago and reinstalled the game for the patch, I fixed it by deleting the save file. Go to;

Documents - My Games - Fasterthanlight
and delete the "prof.sav" file

And when you load the game it should work but I think it removes all your previous unlocks.

Hello, the solution isn't working for me !!
I've delete the file AND the game at the same time, not at the same time... nothing works.
However, before it crash completely, the solution has work once but I've restart the game to change the settings and....

Any ideas?
