In my experience, the thing about nexon games is that the download requires time and priority. I'd recommend that you try a download from the main website when you know you won't need a computer for a few hours, shutting off steam and anything else that could take up your computer's process. There are a lot of files to download, so it may be overloading from not enough resources or it may be actually getting somewhere despite what it looks like. I usually watch the actual names of the files it goes through in the non-Steam download since then you can check if it's truly getting nowhere. If you do try that, check back in on it in a few hours and see if it's made progress, the download should keep the computer from truly hibernating and stopping itself. Once you get through all the file stuff there's one last part of the install that, in my experience, will go fullscreen and show a silouette. Keep in mind this is the nexon installer, not the Steam one. Depending on your computer you can count on this stage to take either a couple hours or 30 seconds. If you can reach that stage with the method I've suggested you're basically in the clear. Another reason for it messing up is that it can't install a file to the directory, possibly due to lack of space or something like that. I'm subscribing to the discussion, so please let me know if you try it and it gets you anywhere.
My recommendation is to get it through steam because you can resume downloading at any time if there is an issue. also if the download finishes and is bad for any reason you can get steam to check the file integratey and replace any missing or corrupted parts. this is a lot faster than downloading the entire thing over again.
