I cannot sell or drop items

The option is darkened and I cannot select it. Is there a fix for this? I saw a thread where someone else encountered this but it was locked. And from my steam profile you can tell I actually own the game.

Okay, after playing solo for a few chapters I found that I could sell items or drop them, but after a second playthrough I found myself unable to sell or drop again, until I closed the active session in the lobby.

u can't sell anything when u are doing the story mode, u can only sell stuff in lobby and after u beat a wave in crawl mode, but i don't know why u can't drop items

Yeah, I was having that issue in the lobby

uh that's weird, maybe u should let the devs know about it, but I think they are paying attention to wanderlust: adventure now

Which is why I was posting here, I assumed the devs of this game paid attention to the discussion boards.
